While Jyotiraditya Scindia played groomsman to Lakshyaraj, his baarat included members from the royal houses of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Bihar and Maharashtra. Union minister Praful Patel and actor Vinod Khanna were also spotted at the wedding.

According to a Times of India report, the guest list for the reception includes industrialists and Hollywood and Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone.

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, son of Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, the 76th custodian of the Mewar dynasty in Udaipur, tied the knot last night with Nivritti Kumari Singh Deo of Patna Balangir.

The reception on January 24 has an impressive guest list with names like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Fashion bigwigs Stella Mc Cartney, Ritu Beri and other Indian designers are expected. As are top industrialists Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Anil and Tina Ambani, Adi and Parmeshwar Godrej, Ratan Tata and Nandan Nilekani. Filmmakers Danny Boyle and David Yates as well as Ben Kingsley are invited.

The couple will return to Udaipur on January 23 for the Vadhupravesh ceremony, followed next day by the Shaadi Ri Goth, or grand public reception. A source says, "Around 4,000 people are invited for the Shaadi Ri Goth, which will take place at Shikarbadi, an open-air venue close to the city.''
