Del Mail, cuando no. As the 29-year-old emerged from her silver Rolls-Royce, struggling in her silk beaded dress designed by Anna Bystrova from Roza Couture, she joked to one of the ushers: 'I can't remember how they said to do this.
'This is why I should probably wait for the designer.'
Members of the Royal Family mingled with stars of television and film at the high society event, with some turning up nearly two hours before the start of the 5pm ceremony.
Princess Eugenie wore a bright pink dress with matching fascinator, black high heels and a jacket embellished with silver, pink and yellow beads. Lord Freddie Windsor poses with his bride Sophie Winkleman
The couple wed in a 5pm ceremony attended by Royals and celebrities
She arrived with the Duke and Duchess of Kent. The Duchess was wearing a navy blue suit, a fascinator and a turquoise bag and shoes.
Miss Winkleman, carrying a simple white floral bouquet, was accompanied into the Chapel Royal by her father, where her six young bridesmaids were waiting for her.
Prince and Princess Michael of Kent had entered the building moments before. Princess Michael was wearing a long, dark blue skirt suit with a pink rose in her hair.
Her daughter, Lady Gabriella Windsor, who was giving the first reading from the Song of Solomon, wore a pale grey dress and shawl.
The Queen was unable to attend, as were the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princes William and Harry.
The Duchess of Cornwall was represented by her daughter Laura, however, who arrived wearing a purple dress and cream jacket.
Lady Helen Taylor helped her daughter Eloise, one of the bridesmaids, fasten a pink sash around her dress before they entered the chapel. She wore a grey dress with a lace panel around the neck.
The bride's stepmother, Eve Pollard, wore a dark purple suit and lilac fascinator, and her step-sister, presenter Claudia Winkleman, wore a black feathered headdress with a black and white checked dress and jacket.
Family friend Jane Asher, who was also giving one of the three readings, wore a tweed dress and black hat.
Other guests included rock star Bryan Adams, film maker and author Julian Soames, Evening Standard Editor Geordie Greig and Sabrina Guinness.
The bride entered the chapel, which was decorated with white and pale pink roses and handmade jasmine garlands, to Mozart's Laudate Dominum.
Hymns sung included Be Thou My Vision, Dear Lord and Father of Mankind and I Vow To Thee My Country.
The front of the order of service read simply 'Freddie and Sophie', alongside the wedding date and location.
Jane Asher read a poem called The Meeting, while the third reading, by Rupert Evans, was Christina Rossetti's A Birthday.
A prayer, described as 'Freddie and Sophie's Prayer', was included in the hour-long service.
Kent family spokesman Simon Astaire said of the wedding: 'It's been a beautiful day - perfect English weather and a couple deeply in love.'
Lord Freddie, who is 31st in line to the throne, and Miss Winkleman, best-known for her role as Big Suze in comedy series Peep Show, turned down a 'life-changing' sum of money from a celebrity magazine wanting to cover the wedding.
It is thought the couple were offered nearly £1 million, but instead chose to keep their wedding day private for themselves and their 400 guests.
Investment banker Lord Freddie, 30, who had 15 ushers helping him on his wedding day and friend Henry Morton Jack as best man, looked relaxed before the wedding.
The bridesmaids were Matilda Thykier, daughter of Claudia Winkleman; Lady Helen and Tim Taylor's daughter Eloise; Ben and Kate Goldsmith's daughter Iris; Tatiana Szapary, Count and Countess Peter Szapary's daughter; Dominic and Shoonagh Hubble's daughter Matilda Hubble; and India, the daughter of Nicholas and Stephanie Balfour.
Annabel Lewis of florists VV Rouleaux, who provided all the wedding flowers, made headbands of white flowers for each of the girls.
The couple are set to fly to Los Angeles tomorrow in time for the new bride to start work on a television series.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/ar ... ndsor.html
