Muchas gracias por tan interesantes enlaces, Tanja. ¿No te parece raro que no mencionaran al príncipe Johannes en el anuncio del compromiso? La chica tiene plata y posición social por su padre, no por su madre. :-/ :-/ :-/

Parece que Gloria no está "amused" con la elección de su hija (se negó a dar comentarios sobre el anuncio a la prensa alemana). El anuncio lo puso Hugo. Aquí la versión de Richard Kay sobre como se conoció la pareja:

Thrilled: Hugo and Maria are to marry

A passion for art has brought together British painter Hugo Wilson and German Princess Maria Theresia, eldest daughter of the fabulously wealthy Princess Gloria Von Thurn und Taxis.

The couple are said to be absolutely thrilled after having just announced their engagement.
They met when Hugo, 31, whose mother Diana is a landscape gardener, went to Rome — where Gloria has a palazzo — to learn to paint ‘classically’.

Fellow artist Maria, 33, whose late father was the wildly flamboyant and extravagant bisexual billionaire Prince Johannes, was already there.

She was once tipped as a bride for the King of Spain’s heir, Prince Felipe, while three years ago Hugo, a former paramour of furniture maker Martha Freud, featured in a list of 50 well-born young Britons under the age of 30.

He says: ‘I didn’t have any real money so I sort of had to make a living from the work very early on when I was 17.’

Gloria avistada en Roma con el "obispo del lujo" Tebartz-van Elst. Ambos asistieron a la fiesta ofrecida por el Cardenal Müller, Prefecto para la Congregación de la doctrina de la Fé, para celebrar su elevación. Benedicto, Gänswein y Albert von TnT también estuvieron presentes.
